Imagine Ari was born on July 1, 1988, and Noor on July 1, 1981. Ari is a Dragon; Noor is a Rooster. In the year-branch method, Dragon and Rooster form a Six Harmony (六合) pair. The app uses that as one part of their chart comparison.

Add your birthday, then the people you care about. For each pair, Fengshui Forever compares Western signs and Chinese zodiac details under its chosen rules. You'll see where the charts agree and differ, plus a daily reflection.

Features

Compatibility
Compare two birth charts with a 0–100 score based on the available Western and Chinese details. See which parts count most and where missing details leave uncertainty. Each reading has a question to explore together, with wording for partners, family, friends and coworkers.

Today
Pin someone close for the daily reflection in Today. On iPhone, a Home Screen widget can show your selected Today view in three sizes.
Meaningful dates
Birthdays, anniversaries and the day you met appear ahead of time on Today. See everyone’s dates together in the monthly calendar, or subscribe to them from Google or Apple Calendar.
Share a reading
Tap Share and your phone makes an eight-character code. Your friend opens the link, or types the code when the app first opens, and the full report of the two of you unlocks for both of you.
Add Me
Send an Add Me card instead of typing out your birthday again. It carries your name and birth date. Birth time, birthplace and sex appear only if you choose to share them, and you can turn the card off at any time.
Zodiac explorer
Browse all twelve Western signs and twelve Chinese animals. Each has matches ranked by the same calculations used in your readings. The Chinese animals also show allies (三合), a special match (六合) and clashes (六冲). See who in your circle belongs to each sign.
Feng shui · 风水
Your Kua number (本命卦), from birth year and stated sex, gives a trigram, an East or West group and four favourable directions. The report tells each of you which way to face when you sit together, and whether you share a group.

Birth dates, times and places stay in the app on the phone or browser you use, and free readings are calculated there; a paid report sends your chart (birth data) to write it — see the privacy policy. There is no account to make.
The code is the key. Your device encrypts the report before it leaves, our server keeps only ciphertext it cannot open, and the code rides in the part of a link browsers never send. Shares that are never opened are deleted after 30 days.
No ads, and no selling of your circle. Backup and the calendar feed are optional; backups are encrypted on your device first.

FAQ
Yes. Adding people, Today, the widget, your dates and calendar, backup and the web app are free. Every compatibility report, with its full chart detail, is free. The iPhone app also offers two longer paid reports. The daily reflective reading is free during beta.
Chart detail and every relationship report are free in the app and the browser. The iPhone app offers two longer written reports: an East & West Report about you, and a Love Report for you and a partner. Each is $9.99, a one-time purchase for that report, processed by Apple. It is not a subscription. If a birth date or time changes later, that counts as a new report. Restore purchases brings back reports you have bought.
Not yet. Fengshui Forever is on iPhone first. On any other phone or computer, tap Start free in my browser on this page and the readings open right here, with nothing to install.
No. With a birth date, the app compares the chart details it can calculate. The browser reading may show a question mark when optional details are missing; adding them can move the result either way. See what the result means.
The zodiac year turns at Lunar New Year, which follows the new moons. That can put a January or early-February birthday in the previous animal year. The app uses your full birth date to find your animal. See a 2024 example.

Kua (本命卦) comes from Eight Mansions (八宅) feng shui. It is worked out from your birth year and stated sex, because the tradition’s two formulas differ, so it only appears when you choose to add sex. It gives you a trigram, an East or West group and four favourable directions.
